PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE City of Granite Falls January 21, 2026 7:10 p.m., or soon thereafter BEFORE THE GRANITE FALLS CITY COUNCIL NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT, in the Granite Falls City Hall Council Chambers at 215 S. Granite Avenue, Granite Falls, WA on Wednesday, the 21st day of January 2026, at 7:10 p.m., or soon thereafter, a public hearing will occur to receive comments regarding proposed revisions and updates to Titles 19 and 21 of the Granite Falls Municipal Code including but not limited to definitions, land use and development standards, and to integrate local requirements associated with the City’s obligations under the Growth Management Act and recently enacted legislation by the Washington State Legislature. The proposed amendments also ensure consistency with the City’s recently adopted 2024 Comprehensive Plan. Any person may appear at the hearing and may comment on the proposed amendments. If you are unable to attend the public hearing in person, you may submit your written comments by 5:00 p.m., January 21st, 2026, to the attention of the City Clerk at Granite Falls City Hall, 215 S. Granite Avenue, Granite Falls, WA, 98252, or to amy.hess@ci.granite-falls.wa.us, in order for your comments to be considered as part of the formal record.
