MUKILTEO SCHOOL DISTRICT The Mukilteo School District’s Special Education records of students who have attended special education in MSD and left the school district or special education in 2019 are being prepared for destruction. Procedures for school district records retention are published by the Secretary of State, Division of Archives and Records Management. MSD is not required to retain certain special education records and are offering the parent/guardian or adult student (18 years old or over) an opportunity to take possession of their records. Files will be available until June 30, 2026. If you wish to obtain a copy of these records, call (425) 356-1277 or email at specialservicesrecords@mukilteo.wednet.edu. Include the name under which your child or you attended, date of birth, and phone number. You will be required to pick up the files in-person and provide identification for proof of guardianship.
