CALL FOR BIDS CROSS VALLEY WATER DISTRICT LEE FOREST RESERVOIR IMPROVMEENTS ENGINEER’S ESTIMATE $8,055,000 Sealed Proposals will be received by the undersigned at the Cross Valley Water District, 8802 180th Street SE, Snohomish, Washington 98296, up to 10:00 a.m.; local time on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, for furnishing the necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, and guarantees thereof to construct Lee Forest Reservoir Improvements. The Lee Forest Reservoir Improvements project includes a seismic retrofit and interior and exterior recoating of the existing 1.0 MG Lee Forest Reservoir. This project also includes site improvements such as the construction of a new 2.2 MG steel reservoir, water site piping, storm site piping, and the construction of a stormwater detention pond. Three valve vaults will also be constructed in order to control and monitor the flows of the two reservoirs on site. In order to construct the new reservoir, approximately 105 trees will be removed in addition to other shrubs and brush onsite. Restoration of the site will include gravel surfacing and hydroseed along with new site fencing and gates. The Work shall be substantially complete within 300 working days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. All bidding and construction is to be performed in compliance with the Contract Provisions and Contract Plans for this project and any addenda issued thereto that are on file at the office of the District Manager, District Office, Snohomish, Washington. The Proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud shortly after the time and date stated above. Proposals are to be submitted only on the form provided with the Bid Documents. All Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, postal money order, cashiers check, or Proposal bond payable to the “Cross Valley Water District” and in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total Proposal amount.
