NORTHSHORE SCHOOL DISTRICT No. 417 REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS (RFQ) Civil Engineering & Landscape Architecture Services Bothell High School and Woodinville High School Submittal Deadline: July 31, 2026, 3:00 PM Pacific Time Northshore School District is requesting qualifications for Civil Engineering and Landscape Architecture services to design the implementation of two synthetic turf playfields to replace the existing natural grass playfield at Woodinville High School (WHS) and Bothell High School (BHS). The project will include, but not be limited to, installing synthetic turf to replace natural grass, upgrading current track with modernized rubber surface and replacing existing turf with new. The Consultant will be expected to strategically plan and design for the full field replacement that incorporates a phased approach, if necessary, to include retaining walls, storm drainage, and/or other aspects of the site, while ensuring functionality for students, staff and the public, and minimizing disruptions to educational and extracurricular operations. The Consultant will also be expected to develop and design a long-term sustainability approach for WHS and BHS within the project's site and budget constraints. Minority and women-owned and veteran-owned firms are encouraged to apply and will be afforded the maximum practicable opportunity to compete for and obtain contracts for services. The School District intends to award this Contract utilizing a competitive selection process authorized by RCW 39.80.
