EVERETT PUBLIC SCHOOLS NOTICE OF MEETING TO ADOPT 2026-27 BUDGET AND CONDUCT PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to RCW 28A.505.050 and RCW 28A.505.060, that the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of Everett School District No. 2, Snohomish County, Washington (the “District”), that the District intends to fix and adopt the budget of the 2026-27 fiscal year, including the four-year budget plan summary, and the four-year enrollment projection, and will hold a public hearing for the purpose of comments from the public on the proposed budget, summary, and projection. Prior to adoption of the 2026-27 budget, the Board will hold a hearing for the purpose of receiving comments from the public on the 2026-27 budget. The public hearing will be conducted during the regular meeting on August 18, 2026, commencing at 4:30 PM, or as soon thereafter as possible. The meeting and public hearing on August 18, 2026 will be held in the Community Resource Center, located at 3900 Broadway Avenue, Everett, Washington at 4:30 pm and will be available via Zoom and access will be available on the district website http://www.everettsd.org/. After the hearing, the Board will take action on the proposed resolution to fix and determine the 2026-27 budget appropriations for each fund, adopt the 2026-27 budget, the four-year budget plan summary, and the four-year enrollment projections.
