LAKEWOOD SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 306 SNOHOMISH COUNTY, WASHINGTON NOTICE OF MEETING TO CONDUCT PUBLIC HEARING AND ADOPT 2026-2027 BUDGET Notice is hereby given, pursuant to RCW 28A.505.050 and 28a.505.060, That the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of Lakewood School District No. 306, Snohomish County, Washington (the “District”) will hold a regular meeting on August 19, 2026, Commencing at 6:00PM via Zoom and at the Lakewood High School Library, located at 17023 11th Ave. NE, Arlington, WA 98223. Please contact Renee Harden-Moore at rharnden@lwsd.wednet.edu to obtain a Zoom link to the meeting. The Board will consider fixing and adopting the budget for the ensuing 2026-2027 fiscal year. Prior to adoption of the 2026-27 budget, the Board will hold a hearing within the regular meeting for the purpose of receiving comments from the public on the proposed 2026-27 budget, the four-year budget plan, or any proposed changes to uses of enrichment funding under RCW 28A.505.240 Replacement Educational Programs and Operations Levy. Any person may appear at the hearing and be heard for or against any part of the proposed 2026-27 budget. Upon conclusion of the hearing, the Board shall fix and determine the appropriation for each fund contained in the 2026-27 budget, the four-year budget plan summary and four-year enrollment projection by resolution.
