NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BEFORE THE TOWN COUNCIL to adopt interim zoning regulations for light standards, landscaping requirements, historic preservation incentives and general design guidelines DESCRIPTION OF PROPOSAL The Town of Friday Harbor is proposing to adopt interim zoning regulations for lighting standards in the downtown core and historic overlay, landscaping requirements for subdivisions and separation between uses, historical incentives for height and parking and general building design guidelines PROPONENT(S): Town of Friday Harbor, Washington, San Juan County; HEARING DATE AND LOCATION: The Town of Friday Harbor Town COUNCIL will hold a PUBLIC HEARING at 12:00pm or soon thereafter on September 3, 2026 to review the Proponents’ request to adopt permanent interim zoning ordinance.
