Notice of Public Hearings and comment period on state shoreline rules The Department of Ecology is proposing amendments to rules that implement the Shoreline Management Act (RCW 90.58), specifically: Chapters 173-18, 173-20, 173-22, 173-26, and 173-27 WAC. The proposed rules are open for comment through November 17, 2026, at 11:59 pm.
