CITY OF SULTAN NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS 2026 PRELIMINARY BUDGET, PROPERTY TAX LEVY, AND SIX-YEAR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PLAN NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Sultan City Council will hold three (3) public hearings on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. continued to Thursday October 24, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. in the Sultan City Council Chambers, located at 319 Main Street, Sultan, WA 98294. Instructions for virtual attendance will be published with the City Council meeting agenda and on the City of Sultan website. The purpose of the public hearings is as follows: • 2027 Preliminary Budget to include the 2027 Salary Schedule • 2027 Property Tax Levy and Uses • 2027 Six (6) Year Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) The public is invited to comment on each of these topics at the public hearings, or by submitting written comments to Tami Pevey, City Clerk via email tami.pevey@sultanwa.gov or mail at PO Box 1199, Sultan, WA 98294. Written comments must be received no later than 4pm on the day of the hearings. Copies of the relevant documentation regarding the public hearings will be available on the City website at https://sultanwa.gov/. Please note the relevant information will be included with the City Council agenda packet and state law requires that agenda packets are published no later than 24 hours before the date of the meeting.
