CITY OF EDMONDS INVITATION TO BID Sealed bids will be received at the office of the City Clerk at 121 Fifth Avenue North, Edmonds, Washington, until 10:00 AM October 20, 2026, for the construction of the OLYMPIC VIEW DRIVE PAVEMENT PRESERVATION and the furnishing of all labor, materials and equipment necessary for this project. The Olympic View Drive Pavement Preservation Project is in the City of Edmonds on Olympic View Drive between Grandview St and Talbot Rd, approximately 1.2 miles. The project includes pavement grinding and overlay, pavement repairs, channelization, and all other associated work. The sealed bids will be opened and publicly read aloud at 10:15 a.m., October 20, 2026, at the City Clerk's Conference Room, 121 Fifth Avenue North, Edmonds. A certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in the amount equal to at least five percent of the total amount of bid, including sales tax if applicable, must accompany each bid as evidence of good faith and as a guarantee that, if awarded the contract, the bidder will execute the contract and give payment and performance bonds as required. The check will be given as a guarantee that the bidder shall execute the contract in conformity with the contract documents if it is awarded to him and shall provide payment and performance bonds as specified therein within ten calendar days after notification of the award of contract to the bidder. The City of Edmonds reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive irregularities or informalities in the bid or in the bidding. No bidder may withdraw his bid after the hour set for the opening thereof or before award of contract, unless said award is delayed for a period exceeding sixty calendar days.
