Development Review Specialist

The City of Sequim is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Development Review Specialist to support review, coordination, permitting, and inspection of private development and public right-of-way improvements. This position reviews development proposals and civil engineering documents for compliance with City standards, utility, transportation, ADA, and stormwater requirements, and works closely with staff, developers, consultants, contractors, and the public. The ideal candidate brings experience in municipal engineering, permitting, development review, construction inspection, or related public works activities, along with strong judgment, organization, and customer service skills in a fast-paced regulatory environment.
