NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER RESOLUTION REGARDING SURPLUS GRAVEL ON WALDRON ISLAND; AUTHORIZING AN ADDITIONAL BID DATE FOR THE SALE OF SURPLUS PERSONAL PROPERTY. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the San Juan County Council will conduct a public hearing for the purpose of receiving testimony to consider a Resolution Regarding Surplus Gravel on Waldron Island; Authorizing an Additional Bid Date for the Sale of Surplus Personal Property. The public hearing will be held in the Council Hearing Room at 55 Second Street, Friday Harbor, Washington on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, beginning at 9:15 AM and will also be accessible virtually, via Microsoft Teams. All persons wishing to be heard on the matter are encouraged to attend. Written comments may be submitted in advance of the hearing by mail, email or at the hearing by delivery in person. After the public testimony portion of the hearing, the Council will deliberate and consider modifications to the proposed resolution that are proposed by members of the public, County employees or the Council. The proposed resolution may then be adopted with or without modifications.
