City of Mill Creek VETERANS MONUMENT AND LIBRARY PARK REHABILITATION PROJECT Bid Date: June 4, 2026 Call for Bids Sealed proposals will be received by the undersigned at the City of Mill Creek, 15728 Main Street, Mill Creek, Washington 98012, up to 2:30 p.m. local time on Thursday, June 4, 2026, for furnishing the necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, and guarantees thereof to construct Veterans Monument and Library Park Rehabilitation Project Work to be performed includes but is not limited to: expansion of the Veterans Monument, including installation of new basalt columns and monument plaza improvements; expansion of the playground and installation of perimeter safety fencing; restoration of asphalt and concrete paths and ADA ramps; installation of site furnishings; lawn restoration; irrigation system improvements; installation of park lighting; clearing and demolition of existing park features to be replaced; tree protection measures; and associated grading, drainage, and limited excavation/earthwork necessary to complete the Work. The work shall be physically complete within 100 working days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to proceed. All physical work on the project must be completed before October 31, 2026. All bidding and construction are to be performed in compliance with the Contract Provisions for this project and any addenda issued thereto that are on file at the office of the City Clerk, City Hall, Mill Creek, Washington. The Proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud shortly after the time and date stated above. Proposals are to be submitted only on the form provided with the Contract Provisions. All Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier’s check, money order, or bid bond payable to the “City of Mill Creek” and in an amount of not less than five percent (%5) of the total amount bid.
