NOTICE OF ELECTION AND REGISTRATION DEADLINES NOTICE OF MEETINGS – SNOHOMISH COUNTY CANVASSING BOARD NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, in Snohomish County, State of Washington, a Primary and Special Election will be held for federal, state, Judicial, and local offices and local ballot measures. Precinct Committee Officer (PCO) races will be decided. A complete listing of offices, candidates, and ballot measures is available on the Snohomish County Elections website at snoco.gov/elections and in the local voters’ pamphlet to be mailed to all households no later than July 15. The last day an individual may register to vote or transfer an existing registration to a new address, by mail or online, for the above election is Monday, July 27. Mail-in registration forms and online registration can be found at votewa.gov. Individuals may update their address or register in person at the Snohomish County Auditor’s Office, during regular business hours through 8 p.m. Aug. 4. Voters may also register at any Accessible and In-Person Voter Services Location during the dates and times listed at snoco.gov/elections, on the ballot informational wrap, and in the local voters’ pamphlet. All registered voters will be mailed a ballot on Tuesday, July 14. Voters may obtain a replacement ballot and/or get more information by calling 425-388-3444, by emailing elections@snoco.gov, or by visiting the Snohomish County Auditor’s Office. All ballot processing activities will be conducted in the Snohomish County Elections Center, 3rd Floor Admin West Building, 3000 Rockefeller Ave., Everett. Ballots will be processed between July 20 and Aug. 17 or until all valid ballots and provisional ballots are opened and canvassed, whichever comes first. Ballot tabulation scanning will begin July 27 and will continue every day (except weekends and holidays) when there are enough to process, until Aug. 17. Initial results will be released after 8 p.m. on Election Day, Aug. 4, and posted at snoco.gov/elections. Snohomish County Elections tests voting equipment and ballot counting equipment in preparation for the election. The testing process is a regular activity in preparing for each election and is open to public observation. The official logic and accuracy test of the ballot counting equipment took place on Tuesday, June 30. Accessible voting equipment was also tested. Results are available at snoco.gov/elections. The Snohomish County Canvassing Board will meet in the Snohomish County Elections Center at the following times to review and certify the returns of the Aug. 4 Primary.
