NOTICE OF PLANNING COMMISSION PUBLIC HEARING LAND DIVISIONS DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS AND PROCEDURES UPDATE DATE OF NOTICE: August 5, 2026 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Everett Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at 6:30 pm on Tuesday, August 18, 2026 for the proposed code amendments. The hybrid meeting will be held in the city council chambers located at 3002 Wetmore Ave., Everett. Proposed Action: The proposal would update the City of Everett land divisions procedures and development standards to implement recent state legislation (2025’s HB 1096, codified as RCW 58.17.145), implement policies in the comprehensive plan, modernize land divisions for middle housing, and streamline procedures and development standards. Proposed updates to the July 7, 2026 draft will be published to the project webpage by August 14 and included in the August 18 planning commission agenda packet.
