Jefferson County Parks & Rec is seeking a seasonal Parks Maintenance I team member to work full time (40 hours/week), from approximately March to October to support the care and upkeep of 22 County parks and campgrounds. Primary duties involve mowing, landscaping, custodial work, athletic field prep, tree work, repairs, and improvement projects. The role requires safe operation of small tractors, power equipment, and hand tools, along with strong communication and teamwork skills when working with park users and the public. May include weekend hours. Education/Experience: High school diploma/GED and valid WA State Driver's License, and have the ability to obtain a basic First Aid card and CPR certification. Compensation: Teamsters Grade A6-A position, starting pay typically $24.28 per hour, full pay range: $24.28 to $29.89 per hour. Medical benefits, including dental and vision.
