Jefferson County Solid Waste is seeking a Technician I or II for full-time (40hrs/week) work at the Solid Waste Transfer Station. Primary duties involve assisting customers in the scale house, processing transactions, and directing traffic on the tipping floor to support safe and efficient operations. May include weekend hours. Education/Experience: High school diploma/GED and valid WA driver's license; experience with truck driving and heavy equipment is strongly preferred, customer service, and/or cash handling; or equivalent combination of education and experience Compensation: Tech I Teamsters Grade A4-A Typical starting pay $23.70/hr, DOE. Full wage range $23.70-29.21/hour; Tech II Teamsters Grade A4-B Typical starting pay $26.13/hr, DOE.
