Jefferson County Solid Waste is seeking a temporary Technician I for full-time (40hrs/week) work through December of 2026 at the Solid Waste Transfer Station. There is a possibility for extension. Primary duties involve assisting customers in the scale house, processing transactions, and directing traffic on the tipping floor to support safe and efficient operations. May include weekend hours. Education/Experience: High school diploma/GED and valid WA driver's license; experience in traffic control, manual labor, forklift operation, customer service, and/or cash handling; or equivalent combination of education and experience Compensation: Teamsters Grade A4-A Typical starting pay $23.70/hr, DOE.
