NOTICE OF BUDGET HEARING FISCAL YEAR 2025-2025 BUDGET  EXTENSION  ORCAS ISLAND SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 137 NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to RCW 28A.505.050 and RCW 28A.505. 060, that the Board of Directors of Orcas Is-land School District No. 137, San Juan County, Washington, will hold a public hearing and adoption regarding a proposed Budget Extension within the Debt Service Fund for the 2025-2026 school year. Any person may appear at this hearing and be heard for or against any part of the proposed budget extension within the Debt Service Fund for the 2025-2026 school year. A copy of the Budget Extension is on file at the District Office, 557 School Road,  Orcas Island, WA 98245, and is available for review upon request. Those interested in participating in the budget extension hearing and/or offering public comment on the proposed budget extension should contact Suzanna Smith at su zannamith@oisd.org. The meeting will be held at 5:30 pm on Tuesday, August 25, 2026 in the Library, located at 557 School Road, Orcas Island, WA. The meeting will also be accessible via Zoom.
